Task: Start Makelore development project
Identity
- Task ID: 20260905-start-project-d71a4c
- Mode: Feature
- Branch: main
- Worktree: /Users/inmanx/Documents/makelore
- Base commit:
c501403076 - Owner: codex
- Status: Ready for Integration
Scope
- Start the Makelore Electron application in desktop development mode from the
current local
maincheckout using the pnpm version pinned bypackageManager. - Confirm the Renderer, Electron Main, Preload, utility worker, and Host API reach a usable running state without terminating unrelated application state.
Intent And Constraints
- Use
corepack pnpm run devwith pinned pnpm10.33.4. - Do not change application configuration, global user-data paths, single-instance behavior, or environment contracts merely to bypass an existing installed app.
- Do not force-quit the installed Makelore instance without the user's direction, because it may contain active or unsaved work.
Outcome
- After user confirmation, gracefully quit the installed
/Applications/Makelore.appinstance and confirmed its process exited. - Started
corepack pnpm run dev; Vite became ready athttp://localhost:5173/, all Electron development targets compiled, and the Electron development application opened without a single-instance-lock exit. - The Renderer, Electron Main, Preload, utility worker, and authenticated Host API are running in the retained development session.
Verification
corepack pnpm --versionreturned10.33.4.- Port inspection before the second launch found no listener on TCP 5173 or 13210.
- Development output reached
VITE v7.3.1 ready, built Main, Preload, and utility bundles, started Electron PID 73770, and reportedHost API server listening on http://127.0.0.1:13210. http://localhost:5173/returned HTTP 200.- An unauthenticated request to
http://127.0.0.1:13210/returned the expected HTTP 401, confirming the Host API listener and authentication gate are active. - System Events reported an Electron window named
Makelore; listener inspection showed Vite on localhost TCP 5173 and Electron on TCP 127.0.0.1:13210. - Startup emitted only non-fatal development warnings about login-item permission, mixed static/dynamic imports, and stale Browserslist data.
Follow-ups
- Keep the development session running for interactive use. Stop it with Ctrl-C when development work is finished.
Promotion Candidates
- None. This is an operational startup task and does not change product behavior.
