## Scope
|
|
|
|
- Merge `daf7eff` (including `d787267`/`9f575e2`) into latest local main: whole preview address toolbar beside workspace tabs and icon-only teacher refresh. Remove this chat's two completed source worktrees and the completed merge worktree, preserving branches and commits.
|
|
|
|
## Intent And Constraints
|
|
|
|
- User explicitly requests main merge and workspace cleanup. Preserve latest teacher-reference isolation and all existing behavior; keep the running temporary app and unrelated workspaces. No remote push or app restart requested. Source task records are imported unchanged, not rewritten; no canonical promotion is needed.

## Outcome
|
|
|
|
- Merged source `daf7eff` (including toolbar code `d787267` and live-update record `9f575e2`) into latest local main `bea5ddd` without conflicts; merge commit `0a6ab29`. Fast-forwarded the clean primary main to the tested merge. The latest teacher-reference isolation is retained, alongside the combined address toolbar and icon-only teacher refresh. No remote push or live-app mutation was performed.

## Verification
|
|
|
|
- Standard typecheck, scoped TypeScript ESLint, production build and 110 unit tests across four relevant browser/chat/preview/teacher-companion files passed. Five Chrome layout scenarios passed (375/768/1180 navigation and 520/1000 teacher header); screenshots confirm wide-row URL placement, narrow wrapping, and the 32x32 refresh icon. |
- Inspected the merged chat-panel diff against `daf7eff`: it contains the latest reference-isolation changes from main, with no lost toolbar behavior. Whitespace, no-unmerged-index, clean-main and ancestry checks passed. Both main `bea5ddd` and source `daf7eff` are ancestors of the merged result.
|
|
- Official documentation drift check flags the two source task records imported by the authorized merge as FOREIGN_DOC relative to the main base. Verified both blobs are byte-identical to source `daf7eff`: toolbar `e9bed36bd244d8f90d714982ae0b62d4d1c9d9b3`, refresh `688d0136d958d884dc7fcd663bd3fad0b2cd68ae`. This is the same known merge-accounting limitation recorded by the preceding reference merge. No source record or canonical document was edited, and no ownership/adoption workaround was applied.

## Follow-ups
|
|
|
|
- Remote push was not requested. Finish recording this result, fast-forward the record into main, complete the task, and retire the current clean managed merge checkout under the user's existing cleanup authorization.
|
|
|
|

## Plan
|
|
|
|
1. Merge the completed source into the owned candidate while preserving latest main; inspect combined product and source-record bytes.
|
|
2. Run typecheck, relevant regression tests, scoped lint, build and targeted browser layout checks; record verification.
|
|
3. Fast-forward clean unchanged main to the reviewed candidate, complete the task, and retire the three approved clean managed worktrees from the primary checkout. Retain every source/merge branch and commit.
|
|
|
|
## Cleanup Review And Outcome
|
|
|
|
- App artifact list is empty, so these fallback-created checkouts cannot be addressed by the app archive tool. Used the official task-context retire command from the primary checkout after merge; no shell deletion or branch removal.
|
|
- Retired `/Users/chillishark/Makelore 麦洛/.codex-worktrees/makelore/20260930-preview-toolbar-tabs-56e98b2d`; branch `codex/20260930-preview-toolbar-tabs-56e98b2d-preview-toolbar-tabs` remains at `9f575e2`.

- Both source checkouts were clean, managed and ready with committed task records. Process commands, global lsof, trial symlinks and runtime source/script references showed no dependency. Ignored files were generated dist/dist-electron and dependency links only. Current trial continues using the independent `/tmp/.../refresh-icon-2c6e81a4/source` copy, with its dependency link to the primary repository.

- The current merge checkout also has only generated build output and a dependency link. Its browser worker/server exited; no remaining process needs it. The user-authorized final retirement follows this committed ready record and main fast-forward, retaining the merge branch and its final commit. Primary and unrelated worktrees remain.
