+The interrupted-retirement failure recorded on 2026-09-29 recurred for the Makelore capability-copy worktree: Git registration and .git were gone, but a residual directory and official task ownership remained. Repeating retire cannot recover an unregistered directory. After explicit authorization and verification of the exact path, source branch and integrated commit, renaming the residue to -retained preserved it; official release-missing and start --adopt-existing restored matching ownership. No registry file or bundled script was edited. The earlier [recovery candidate](20260929-merge-teacher-stream-1e4177fe__interrupted-retire.md) remains applicable; this recurrence supports a future bounded official recovery rather than automatic deletion.

+Remote browser fixtures returned 404 on Windows because resolveId returned a native backslash path while Vite called load with its normalized form. Vite normalizePath at the virtual entry boundary fixed all four affected fixtures; a focused smoke case then the intended layout suites passed. Inspect a blank harness's request error before treating every missing locator as a UI regression.
