Official retire passed eligibility checks but Git partially deleted the directories and removed its linked-worktree registration before reporting filesystem errors: Yuxi "Filename too long"; Makelore "Directory not empty" (even with command-local core.longpaths).

Source branches and commits remain preserved. Skill ownership/reservation entries remain because retire did not reach its final registry cleanup.
