+## Scope
+
+- Fetch the configured `origin` remote and synchronize local `main` with
+  `origin/main` using fast-forward-only semantics.
+- Start the synchronized desktop project in development mode with the exact
+  pnpm version pinned by `packageManager`.
+- Preserve existing project source, history, and local work without creating a
+  merge commit or rewriting history.

+## Outcome
+
+- Fetched `origin` successfully and pruned stale remote-tracking references.

+  A resumed synchronization then fetched 14 new remote commits and ran
+  `git pull --ff-only origin main`, fast-forwarding local `main` from
+  `8e947b4f0e1ff0409e52a9d528ae3bb240ceb687` to
+  `4d8b19eeb5e70c97d40d2db68f37ee9f425b54f0` without a merge commit or history
+  rewrite.
+- On 2026-09-04, a further synchronization fetched five new remote commits and
+  fast-forwarded local `main` from
+  `4d8b19eeb5e70c97d40d2db68f37ee9f425b54f0` to
+  `403236115bf81e7617856cd8219b1be23f6abbb8` with the same fast-forward-only
+  policy.

+## Verification
+
+- `git rev-list --left-right --count HEAD...origin/main` returned `0 0` after
+  the resumed fetch and pull.
+- The latest local and remote commit is `4032361` (`fix(design): show submitted
+  messages immediately`).
+- At the `4d8b19e` checkpoint, `git log 8e947b4..4d8b19e` listed exactly 14
+  newly fast-forwarded commits.
+- `git log 4d8b19e..HEAD` lists exactly five commits from the 2026-09-04
+  fast-forward.
+- The task-aware document drift check reported `BLOCKED` because its original
+  `8e947b4` baseline classifies all subsequently fast-forwarded upstream files
+  as foreign task changes. Inspection confirmed those paths are committed
+  upstream history rather than local authorship, so they were not reverted.
+- The development process remained alive after initial Renderer, Main, Preload,
+  and utility-worker compilation; the startup log reached `Makelore Application
+  Starting` and confirmed the Host API listener.
